Every Pixar Movie Ranked Worst To Best
15. Incredibles 2
It took a long old time for Pixar to bring out the much-anticipated Incredibles sequel (so long, in fact, that the studio forgot that it once used "The" in the title), but there was always going to be one. This is, after all, the age of superhero movies and the nostalgic, smart take on the post-superhero moment did what the DCEU and the MCU would years earlier as well as giving us the Fantastic Four movie we always deserved.
Mercifully, the studio decided against a time jump that would have seen the Incredi-kids grown up and instead we got a direct continuation of the first movie's story, including the Underminer's attack on the city. That decision meant we got to see the same dynamics further explored, including the revelation of Jack-Jack's latent powers, which is delightful.
There's a timely comment on gender roles in there too and more of a look at superhero accountability, but that's a little familiar and the villain slightly lacks the oomph of Syndrome. It's entertaining, but it's not up there with the best.
