Every Pixar Villain Ranked From Worst To Best

1. Sid Phillips (Toy Story)

Sid Phillips is the villain of Pixar's first-ever movie and remains their very best almost 30 years later. He may not have insane superpowers, but considering the physical threat he represents to Woody (Tom Hanks) and company, he really doesn't need to.

Now to be completely fair to Sid, he has no earthly idea that the toys are alive, but even so, his creative abuse of his and his sister's toys suggests a deeply troubled mind indeed.

More than anything, Sid's unhinged childhood penchant for torturing toys feels like a precursor to more actively harmful behaviour as an adult, but alas, Pixar rather sensibly neglected to follow that thread up (though technically Sid does have a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo in Toy Story 3).

Making the villain of a movie about sentient toys an 11-year-old boy was a genius masterstroke, with Erik von Detten's spirited vocal performance bringing ultra-sinister life to the edgelord child.
