Every Pixar Villain Ranked From Worst To Best

23. Thunderclap (The Good Dinosaur)

The Good Dinosaur may be among the least-watched of all the Pixar movies - prior to the pandemic, it was the lowest-grossing of the lot - but even for those who did bother to watch it, how many can name or even really remember its villainous Nyctosaurus, Thunderclap (Steve Zahn)?

Thunderclap leads a gang of pterodactyls who want to devour dinosaur Arlo's (Raymond Ochoa) young human charge Spot (Jack Bright), and there's precious little more to him than that.

Steve Zahn gives a decent enough performance with the middling material, but his skills are largely wasted on an also-ran antagonist who defines the phrase "forgettable."

Given The Good Dinosaur's noted post-production troubles we can't discount the possibility that Thunderclap was substantially reworked late in the day, but almost anything would be more interesting than this.
