Every Pokemon Movie Ranked Worst To Best
8. Pokemon 4Ever: Celebi - Voice Of The Forest
Coming at the arguable tail-end of Pokemon's initial flush of global popularity, Voice of the Forest remains a particular favourite of fans for its emotional themes and time-travel mechanics - and take away the CGI setpiece at its centre (an unfortunate side-product of several other films on this list that manage to mostly overcome that pitfall), it's a sturdily satisfying affair that plays up on a new connection for Ash that runs deeper than it initially seems.
He, Brock and Misty are drafted in to help care for the time-travelling Pokemon Celebi after it flees to the future to avoid poachers, bringing a young boy called Sammy with it. Events promptly go sideways, but this pleasingly earthy entry feels particularly true to the spirit of the series in its approach for the most part.
