Every Rob Zombie Movie Ranked Worst To Best

6. 3 From Hell (2019)

The Devil's Rejects Captain Spaulding
Lionsgate

It hurts to put 3 From Hell so low on this list, but truth be told it doesn't really hold-up in comparison to the previous films in the series. The third and final movie in the Firefly Trilogy, 3 From Hell takes place ten years after The Devil's Rejects, and sees Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie) and Otis (Bill Moseley) escape from prison and wreak havoc as they venture to Mexico.

There are some seriously cool moments in this film, including Sid Haig's short return as Captain Spaulding (the last scenes he filmed before his untimely death) and Baby's increasing insanity, and Zombie is clearly having fun playing around with his most iconic characters fourteen years after the last film.

The action is fast and brutal, the characters as sinister as ever, but all told there's something missing - a sense of horror and daring that the previous films carried with them so well. To put it simply, 3 From Hell is just too laidback a send-off for such brilliant characters, playing things a bit safe by making the film more of a dark action film rather than a disturbing addition to the Firefly story.

I get to write about what I love, so that's pretty cool. Every great film should seem new every time you see it. Be excellent to each other.
