Every Saw Trap Ranked From Worst To Best

57. Saw V - The Glass Coffin Trap

Trap: The room's walls close in and crush whoever's inside; the only way to escape is in a glass coffin that lowers into the floor.

Another one of the franchise's worst-ever traps, this makes for a very anticlimactic and dull ending to Saw V.

Not only did this trap kill off FBI agent Peter Strahm (Scott Patterson), one of the franchise's best characters, far too soon but it was also a very boring device altogether. As well as this, Mark Hoffman exiting the room (in the coffin) Bond villain-style was just a bit too ridiculous, even for this franchise.

Other than the gore effects, which are as impressive gnarly as ever, thumbs down.
