Every Saw Trap Ranked From Worst To Best

12. Jigsaw - The Grain Silo

Trap: When Ryan tries to go through a door marked 'No Exit', his leg gets trapped in a series of sharp wires. Moments later, the other two players are trapped in a grain silo that fills up with grain and sharp implements. Ryan is forced to cut his leg off in order to save the lives of the other two.

After two forgettable traps, Jigsaw delivered a really great one that was very much the Saw traps at their best.

The Grain Silo Trap is ferociously suspenseful and forces Ryan to make an agonizing choice, and it all ends with a painful yet beautifully-done gore scene. As such, this is a terrific summation of what makes the best Saw traps effective: brutal tension, unsettling choices and a well-rendered dose of gore at the end.

Definitely the film's best trap.
