Trap: Liquefied pig carcasses are filling up the pit Judge Halden (Barry Flatman), who gave the driver that killed Jeff's son a lenient sentence, is in and in order to get the key and free him, Jeff has to burn his son's possessions.

Despite this being the least-gory trap from the goriest film in the series, it's one of the very best. Why?

Because it's filled with nerve-wracking tension and suspense, especially since the Judge very nearly drowns, and it puts Jeff right through the emotional wringer just as a good Saw trap should. The moment where he burns his son's possessions is very moving.
