Every Stan Lee Cameo Ranked From Worst To Best
34. The Trial Of The Incredible Hulk (1989)
This made-for-TV superhero movie spin-off from the classic Bill Bixby-starring The Incredible Hulk TV series is distinguished for being the first ever screen cameo by Stan Lee in any Marvel movie or TV show.
At a spry 67 years old, Lee appears as a juror during Dr. David Banner's (Bixby) trial, and though the movie itself may be a bit of a goofy mess, it's definitely a neat curio made all the more interesting by a "young" Lee having a front row seat to the big green guy he created.
There were far better Hulk cameos to come for Lee, but it's not a bad start.
33. Spider-Man (2002)
While it's fair to say that Stan Lee's cameos in both Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies are a bit underwhelming, it's important to remember that these movies were released before his signature cameo was the must-see mainstay it is today.
In the original Spider-Man, Lee plays a man caught in the middle of the Green Goblin's (Willem Dafoe) initial pumpkin bomb attack, once again exhibiting quick thinking and rushing a small girl to safety.
It's one of his few "heroic" cameos and gets points for that, even if Raimi probably should've come up with something a little more interesting.
