2. Qui-Gon & Obi-Wan Vs. Darth Maul - The Phantom Menace

Say what you will about the prequels, but The Phantom Menace's climactic 2-on-1 match is an absolute classic.

From the jaw-droppingly good "Duel of the Fates" musical score to the impressive acrobatics and the full realisation of just how dangerous Darth Maul really is (complete with his double-ended lightsaber), it's proof that, for as much as Lucas got wrong on the prequels, he knew what he was doing some of the time.

Qui-Gon's inevitable demise is, of course, a totally devastating moment, but Obi-Wan's revenge, where he slices Maul in two complete with a bloody mist spray, is totally bada**.

Though the movie as a whole didn't really do enough with Maul as a villain, and he probably should've lived to fight another day, these scant few minutes at least gave him his due somewhat.
