Every Star Wars Movie Ranked From Worst To Best
4. Star Wars: Episode VI - Return Of The Jedi (1983)
It may be by far the least of the original trilogy, thanks to some less-than-stellar plotting and, well, the Ewoks, but Return of the Jedi is still a highly entertaining Star Wars movie.
Though Richard Marquand's direction is really just kinda there compared to the two prior movies, it's hard not to be bowled over by the fitting resolution to the Luke-Vader story, the wealth of action and the generally consistent entertainment the movie provides.
Best Moment: Luke's fight against Vader, especially when he goes full bada** and nearly kills his own dad.
Worst Moment: Boba Fett's extremely clumsy, goofy death. It's just a terrible way to do away with an excellent character. The Ewoks destroying the Stormtroopers comes in at a close second, though.
