The first season of Andor was easily the most pulsating, powerful, and complex tale to go straight to Disney+ since the House of Mouse purchased Lucasfilm all those years ago.

And though fans of Diego Luna's titular Rebel, and the rest of the compelling non-Force-sensitive individuals helping shape this galaxy far, far away in the lead-up to the Star Wars Story known as Rogue One, will have to wait a little longer than expected for more Andor in their lives - thanks to the recent writer and actor strikes - the good news is that season two still very much looks set to debut in 2025 at some point.

That being said, Stellan Skarsgård, who terrifically brought Luthen Rael to life in that first season, told GamesRadar that the show could still drop towards the end of the year potentially, "or early next." So, fingers crossed, eh?

Creator Tony Gilroy has explained how season two will experience four time jumps, with each of those covering around a year and the first taking place between the first season's finale and the start of season two.

Season two will also seemingly explore what happens when a revolution begins to go mainstream, and how that move affects the "the original gangsters" and other hardcore individuals who "built that road." (via Entertainment Weekly.)

Sounds like more of the sort of gloriously complex storytelling that made season one such a riveting watch.
