Every Stephen King Movie Ranked Worst To Best

27. A Good Marriage (2014)

Stephen King Movies Ranked
Screen Media Films

A Good Marriage, based on the novella from King's despairing "Full Dark, No Stars" collection, wasn't well received upon its release, neither by critics nor the daughter of serial killer Dennis Radar - King's inspiration for the story - who accused the author of exploiting her father's victims.

Backlash aside, A Good Marriage is actually one of the author's most underrated creations, and the film is a horrifying sight, following a content woman (Joan Allen) who learns her loving husband (Anthony LaPaglia) is a murderer. It's a touch melodramatic at times, but the atmosphere and performances make it a disquieting experience.

I get to write about what I love, so that's pretty cool. Every great film should seem new every time you see it. Be excellent to each other.
