Every Stephen King Movie Ranked Worst To Best
24. Children Of The Corn (1984)
Years of spoofs and overexposure (and dozens of unnecessary sequels) have rendered the original Children of the Corn quite dated, its tale of possessed kids with pitchforks and a malevolent god no longer as scary as it used to be.
It's also not as horrifying as King's short story, but to its credit it still holds up as an unsettling little tale, full of spooky imagery and big ideas. King loves throwing kids into turmoil, but with Children of the Corn he made them the demons, and the results are a creepy feast, familiarity notwithstanding.
