Every Stephen King Movie Ranked Worst To Best
10. Christine (1983)
There's so much to like about Christine: It's a nostalgic ode to the fifties concerning a troubled teen who falls in love with a Plymouth Fury; a horror movie in which that same car gains sentience and starts killing people; and it was directed by horror great John Carpenter.
Based on one of King's most iconic novels, Christine is many things, including a surprisingly powerful assessment of Reagan's America, a tragic coming-of-age tale about a boy desperate to become a man, and a slasher flick where the killer happens to be a car perfectly symbolic of the era it's set in.
Stylish, silly, doom-laden and politically astute, our very own Ewan Paterson has spoken in-depth about how great Christine really is, and, well, what's not to love?
