Every Steven Soderbergh Movie Ranked Worst To Best

29. Full Frontal (2002)

Oceans Eleven
Columbia Pictures

After a slew of great movies, Soderbergh decided to mix things up by bringing out Full Frontal, a film so tasteless and frequently unwatchable it's a wonder it was made by the same filmmaker that brought audiences Traffic and the Ocean's Trilogy.

Full Frontal is a mindless character piece that follows a gaggle of famous faces - Julia Roberts, David Duchovny, Catherine Keener - as they navigate love and life's obstacles.

Sounds dull, and unfortunately it is. Worse still, it wastes its talented cast with ill-formed characters and a painfully lacking script, and tries so hard to be a clever slice-of-life dramedy that it's actually quite laughable in parts.

The fact that Soderbergh considers this an unofficial sequel to the far superior Sex, Lies and Videotape only makes it that much more unforgivable.
