Every Steven Soderbergh Movie Ranked Worst To Best

10. Contagion (2011)

Oceans Eleven
Warner Bros.

Contagion has become uncomfortably relevant over the last year or so, but even without the relatable themes of pandemics, disease and social disorder, it still marks one of Steven Soderbergh's finest films.

With another all-star cast rounded up - including Marion Cotillard, Jude Law, Kate Winslet, Matt Damon, Bryan Cranston, and many more - Contagion charts the attempts of a group of doctors, conspiracy theorists and business executives as they combat a deadly virus and the societal dissent that comes with it.

Moving between various characters and even entire continents with startling precision, the thriller follows the ins-and-outs of a world struck down by something it doesn't fully understand.

Amongst the main cast, Cotillard and Damon shine, and Soderbergh's multinarrative style has rarely suited a film so well. It's a sight to behold.
