Every Story Of Creepshow Season One Ranked

A Halloween-themed story is always welcome. Here, five youngsters (four of which are significantly too old to be partaking in the festivities) meet for their annual night of trick or treating. As they go about their rounds door to door, it soon becomes apparent that their neighbours aren’t to thrilled to see them. In fact, they look scared to death – as if they have seen a ghost, perhaps?

This story could’ve benefited from taking advantage of the Halloween mood a lot more than it did. Think along the lines of 2008’s Trick ‘r Treat; that’s what we should’ve got here. It’s an entertaining enough segment, but not nearly as memorable as it could have be. The black and white flashback scene is a nice touch, though. And a twist ending is always appreciated in a horror anthology segment, even if this one is unavoidedly predictable.
