Every Story Of Creepshow Season One Ranked
8. The House Of The Head
While playing with her prized, hand-crafted doll house, a little girl notices a figurine that shouldn’t be there: a ghoulish, severed head. The house’s toy inhabitants soon begin changing position on their own, seemingly investigating, cowering in fear, and defending themselves from their unwelcome visitor. To the girl’s horror, she begins to discover that her ‘inanimate’ friends are being decapitated by the miniature intruder. He may not even be confined to the world of make believe, perhaps posing a threat to her own family, too.
Now that we’ve got the slightly more underwhelming stories out of the way, we’ve reached the territory of the season’s more memorable efforts. There is something inherently creepy about dolls and doll houses. This is a tense and very well paced slow-burn, lead by a fantastic child performance (a young actress primarily known for another Nicotero series, The Walking Dead). However, it is definitely missing a punchier ending, as Creepshow stories are known for.
