Every Movie Trailer From Super Bowl 50 Ranked From Worst To Best

5. Deadpool

A Super Bowl ad for a movie that's out in less than a week should not be this good. It should have massive, third act spoilers, an air of self-imposed epicness and a general ignorance that at this point it's probably trying to convince the already convinced. But at what point in its development has Deadpool followed the trend? We didn't need another look at the film (heck, as I write this I'm seeing it in less than twelve hours), but this one's another cool tone setter that gives away very little and instead only serves to stoke the hype flames. I have wondered how familiar regular audiences will be with 'Pool's fourth-wall breaking, but this even quells that concern; having it broken down so neatly (he starts off addressing the audience in set up, but later on cuts away from the action in-movie) in probably the most widely seen trailer should mean every single person in prospective audience is well aware what they're getting into. Like the other Fox trailers, this is tied into the Big Game event itself, with Deadpool not only humorously discussing how he wanted to be a football star, further proof that they're currently bossing movie marketing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=34&v=1JcaAlQbEwU
