Every Movie Trailer From Super Bowl 50 Ranked From Worst To Best

7. Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice

The Batman V Superman marketing machine has been running for almost a year and it's only now, a month-and-a-half from release, that we get some advertising that isn't poorly made at best and ruinous at worst. Of course, that may be by accident; I'd wager these incredibly cheesy in-universe ads for Turkish Airlines aren't meant to be as naff as they come across. But hey, I can buy into them a lot better than that Dumbsday reveal. Excitingly, there's two, with the airline (who is an official partner for the movie) advertising that they're now flying to Gotham and Metropolis (which is a bit odd given that in the DC Extended Universe they're twin cities, but I'll overlook that). The commercials are fronted by Bruce Wayne and Lex Luthor respectively and provide a bit of a backdrop to their economic role in this world. All the marketing pomp aside, this is what's so good about these teases; it's nice to see Bruce not just holding kids in rubble and Lex doing more than slipping into his best Max Landis. There is something forced about the inclusion of the city's heroes into the adverts (would Bruce Wayne really appear in something that highlighted Batman?), but again, in-universe cheese is a lot better than that overbearing self-seriousness we've had to deal with over the past year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpk8eSpRBnY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TReIozZ1b10
