35. Iron Man 2 (2010)

A middling MCU sequel that fails to build on the original but is nevertheless enjoyable to a point, Iron Man 2 exploits Robert Downey Jr.'s immense charm for every drop it's worth, even if the movie is stuffed to the gills with goofy and melodramatic subplots, and Mickey Rourke's Whiplash is a total waste.

Sam Rockwell is clearly having the time of his life as Justin Hammer, and the climactic drone battle is trashy fun, but director Jon Favreau has since suggested that executive meddling was an issue during production. That's not remotely surprising from the messy end product.
