Every Superhero Movie This Decade Ranked - Worst To Best
30. Ant-Man (2015)
Though fans will forever be left wondering exactly how the Edgar Wright version of Ant-Man would've turned out, the iteration that made it to the screen is still a lot of fun.
Sure, the cinematography looks like a TV show at times, the villain sucks and the narrative isn't particularly interesting, but the focus on pint-sized set-pieces and hilarious characters ensures Ant-Man makes good on the deliriously silly potential of its premise.
Paul Rudd is perfectly cast as Scott Lang and Michael Douglas is terrific as his mentor Hank Pym, though the show is thoroughly stolen by Michael Peña as the outrageously funny sidekick Luis.
Peyton Reed's direction is more workmanlike than inspired, and though the movie ends up on the lower end of the MCU overall, it's nevertheless a lightly enjoyable superhero romp.
