Every Superhero Movie This Decade Ranked - Worst To Best

19. The Lego Batman Movie (2017)

While it didn't quite reach the highs of 2014's The Lego Movie, Lego Batman's (Will Arnett) standalone movie is a mostly breezy blast, benefiting from fantastic animation and a script that gleefully mocks contemporary superhero fare and the Caped Crusader in particular.

Loaded with extras, Easter eggs and sly adult gags, you certainly can't call it boring, and even though the movie's breathlessness occasionally threatens to be its downfall, the eye-popping visuals and terrific vocal performances manage to keep it on an even keel.

Not quite the five-star home-run it could've been, but an easy sell for Batman fans, especially in light of the mediocre recent live-action releases starring the character.
