Every Superhero Movie This Decade Ranked - Worst To Best

11. Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)

After being introduced into the MCU in Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man got his full-on coming-out party with this extremely entertaining solo effort.

Fashioned as a John Hughes-esque high school movie wrapped around a more conventional superhero movie, this is a film overflowing with fantastic added value, from the presence of Tony Stark to perhaps the most diverse and stacked cast of any solo superhero movie ever, and even a rare MCU villain with real bite (Michael Keaton's terrifying Vulture).

The action is probably the weakest and most forgettable thing about the movie, strangely enough. It's hysterically funny without detracting from the drama, boasts one of the best plot twists in the franchise, and ultimately cements Tom Holland as the best screen Spidey to date.
