Every Tim Burton Film Ranked From Worst To Best

5. Nightmare Before Christmas

Edward Scissorhands, like Tim Burton, just can't reach out and touch others

Many people tend to believe that this film was directed by Burton himself when in actual fact it was chaired by Henry Selick. Despite this, it absolutely still feels like Burton's project (it's even called 'Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas' in some formats), as the style and storytelling of the artist are abundantly present in the feature.

This wonderful stop-motion movie can be watched as a holiday film for either Halloween or Christmas, which gives it a great place in culture as an alternative holiday movie.

The story tells of Jack Skellington, a prominent figure in Halloween town who is bored of his life as the pumpkin king of Halloween. After he stumbles upon Christmas town, the skeleton soon tries to take over management of the snowy holiday, but sadly for Jack, it doesn't go well.

The film is complete fun to watch, with a mesh of macabre and wholesome styles that make it an unbelievably original and unique project. In addition, the songs - scored by Danny Elfman - are fantastic and will have you singing along to every number.

There is a reason why this is considered to be one of Burton's most popular films.
