Tom Cruise Interview With The Vampire
Paramount

Following the critical failure of Mission: Impossible 2, director J.J.Abrams was brought in to reclaim some dignity to the waning series.

In this instalment, Hunt finds himself married to Michelle Monaghan's Julia, and forced out of a well-deserved retirement to face off against Philip Seymour Hoffman's devious, cold and scene-stealing villain Owen Davian.

Leaning back into the slick spy stylings of the franchise's debut whilst adding some heightened emotions to Hunt's backstory, M:I3 finds Cruise giving perhaps his best performance as his most beloved character, finding the tragic vulnerability within his otherwise unflappable outward facade.
