What makes The Marvels such an exciting prospect is how it plans to bring together characters from Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and WandaVision.

Featuring three of the franchise's most powerful female heroes, the long-awaited sequel/spin-off to Captain Marvel is scheduled for release near the beginning of 2023, and is rumoured to featured a wide array of returning faces, including Samuel L. Jackson, Tessa Thompson, Cobie Smulders, Jude Law, and Randall Park.

Since it's quite far off, we'll have to wait until after the release of Ms. Marvel to see what the film's about, but considering the cast, as well as the scope of the first Captain Marvel, it's safe to say The Marvels could be an epic superhero film on a level with The Avengers. Here's to hoping.
