The first hero in the MCU to get a fourth movie, Thor seems poised and ready for his most bonkers adventure yet, and it's currently slated for July 2022 release.

With the hilarious Taika Waititi returning to direct with stars Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, the long-missing Natalie Portman, and villainous newcomer Christian Bale, Thor: Love and Thunder almost has too much going for it to write about here.

There's the inclusion of the Guardians of the Galaxy, for one thing, as well as the introduction of Gorr the God Butcher, Portman's Mighty Thor, and Waititi's promise that the film will somehow make Ragnarok look like a "run-of-the-mill, safe film." The stakes then are very high, but Love and Thunder is sure to live up the hype.
