Every Upcoming MCU Project Ranked By Anticipation

Of all Marvel properties still slated to make an appearance in the MCU, the X-Men are perhaps the most anticipated team, in large part due to the question of how exactly Kevin Feige is planning to write them into the chronology. After all, if the X-Men were around, they'd have turned up to fight long before now.

Interestingly, there's currently two X-Men projects currently in the works, one of which - the animated series X-Men '97 - is the first Marvel Studios not to be part of the MCU. The other, an as-yet-untitled mutants movie, is slated for release sometime after the current Phase Four run.

Predictably, there is very little known about this movie just yet, but the X-Men have been so long-awaited in the franchise, and are such a popular team in their own right, that the hype behind their eventual introduction will never die down.
