26. Vuk & The Aliens

The entire alien plot of Dark Phoenix feels a lot like it's been ported on at the last minute to set the film apart from X-Men: The Last Stand. The result, inevitably, feels completely under-cooked and out of place and the aliens themselves are no more than cannon fodder for the final battle sequence.

Vuk, meanwhile is a one-dimensional bad guy whose attempts at exposition - and establishing a backstory for the D'Bari - miss out the key ingredient of real motive and any sort of empathy. She and they end up coming across as Doctor Who monster of the week types who won't last in memory at all, thankfully.
