Though the big screen Expendables have mostly been a boy's club, Yu Nan got to show off her action skills in Expendables 2 and UFC star Ronda Rousey will be hurting plenty of people in The Expendables 3. But the series has lacked an appearance by a classic female action hero so far, and that's a shame. Of all the female butt-kickers throughout movie history, none stand taller than Pam Grier. Grier spent most of the 1970s starring in blaxploitation movies like Coffy and Foxy Brown as a sexy vigilante, breaking both hearts and bones. She's an accomplished dramatic actress also, but nobody has ever forgotten about how good she looked throwing punches back then. Grier would be a perfect choice as a mentor to a younger team of female mercenaries, though she better have the opportunity to get a few shots in on her own. She€™s one of the few actresses who could go shot-for-shot and quip-for-quip with guys like Arnold Schwarzenegger.
