7. … And Therefore Maybe Hogwarts?
Will fans get to revisit Hogwarts during Fantastic Beasts 2, or will Dumbledore travel to Paris using the wizarding equivalent of the EuroStar? At the moment, nobody outside of Rowling's circle of trust knows for sure. But since the film is set in Europe and Albus is in it, a few scenes set within his place of work doesn't seem like too much to ask for.
It would be a cruel tease to bring fans so close to Britain's iconic school for witchcraft and wizarding without so much as a drive-by visit. What was Hogwarts even like, back in the 1920s ad 1930s? It's seems to be a place trapped in time, so would it look all that different decades before Harry's arrival? Would there be different people in the paintings?
If Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, with all its references to the lore of British wizards, is anything to go by, there could well be a visit to Hogwarts on the cards. Here's hoping that none of the yanks mispronounce it as Hogwash again.
