1. The Dumbledore Plot-Hole

For any Harry Potter fan who knows their lore - and that's a significant number given the interest in Pottermore and the wider texts (which Fantastic Beasts actually counts as too, of course) - the idea of Dumbledore ever being the Defence Against The Dark Arts teacher simply makes no sense.

It's the sort of thing we would absolutely have found out by now (especially considering the mythology around the role and its importance to Voldemort). And we already know which teachers were in the position when Dumbledore was teaching. So either this is a change to Hogwarts history or we're going to have to just accept that Rowling apparently chose to leave key information out of the existing Wizarding World texts and companion materials.
