Fantastic Beasts: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best

There's a strange epidemic in Harry Potter universe movies that dictates that Minister of Magic types have to be slightly bumbling and completely unlikeable. Cornelius Fudge was the most charming example, Rufus Scrimgeour had promise but tanked quickly and now Seraphina Picquery is just boring.

She's vaguely morally grey - ordering the execution of a child and having a literal execution chamber in the Magical Congress - but she's not actually interesting because she's only involved pretty vaguely too. Probably because Graves is the Congress' man, he represents the authoritative picture, and it might be reasonable to assume that Picquery will become involved more in sequels.

Hopefully they'll add some more texture to her too.
