6. Nagini

Rather bizarrely, Nagini (Claudia Kim) is granted an origin story in the movie, where it's revealed that Voldemort's snake companion was in fact once a human, or rather a Maledictus stricken with a blood curse which sporadically transforms her into a giant snake.

In terms of the movie's array of fan service, this is certainly one of the more divisive inclusions, if only because so little ceremony is made of Nagini's genesis, and it would've been so easy for the character to simply be an original creation instead (or at least save the reveal for a future movie).

It's not much of a stretch to assume that the apparently final fifth Beasts movie will see her crossing paths with Voldemort for the first time, though it sure would be nice if the next two movies tried to establish her as a character in her own right.
