Fantastic Four: 10 Theories For How They Can Join The MCU

7. Skip The Origin Story

In some ways, it was a little frustrating not to learn about how the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Peter Parker received his powers (and what happened to his Uncle Ben), but comic book fans know the basics, and that's presumably how things played out in this shared world too. In the case of the Fantastic Four, is another origin story for Marvel's First Family really necessary?

There's no reason at all they couldn't have gained their abilities during that five-year time-jump in Avengers: Endgame, and when they do make their presence felt here, they can be an already established team who the public are familiar with.

This wouldn't explain why they weren't present during that movie's final battle, of course, but it's not like the fight against Thanos took place over days, and the team could very easily have been busy elsewhere facing another threat. Introducing the team this way would be surprisingly easy, and suits them better than it would, say, the X-Men.
