Fantastic Four New Trailer Breakdown: 25 Things You Need To See
8. And The Invisible Woman Is Hard To Ignore
In the early days the comic book Invisible Woman lived up to her name. Just as Sue Storm was kept under her beau's thumb in their home life whenever the Fantastic Four were actually in the field, she found herself unable to do much besides fade into the background. Eventually Stan Lee buckled to criticisms and expanded her power set to be a little more interesting. So along with the obvious abilities from her name, the Invisible Woman can also project forcefields. At times in the comics this has continued her time as a passive, defensive combatant in the fray, but here it looks like more of an offensive weapon; she wields the power to crumple a load of shipping crates here.
