Fantastic Four Reboot Movie: 10 Reasons To Be Excited

10. It Could Have Been Worse

Jonathan-Rhys-Meyers Okay, you hate them. You've looked up the cast and you just can't see it. Who even are these people? Well, it could have been a whole lot worse. Some of the other actors rumoured to be up for the parts according to the detailed log of casting rumours on the Marvel Movies Wiki would have been divisive choices, to put it mildly. Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Mr Fantastic would presumably have pouted and sulked to great effect, and Kit Harington (Game of Thrones' Jon Snow) could have stared in bewilderment in reaction to just about anything. Kiefer Sutherland could have been the Thing. You can only imagine. There were some possibilities in there which could have been fun, like Star Trek's Anton Yelchin as Reed and Saoirse Ronan as Sue, but on the whole Fox hasn't drastically miscast anyone. Yes, Jamie Bell as the Thing could work, as we'll see later on in the list.
