Fast & Furious 8: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best

7. Brian Marcos Toretto

Little Brian's backstory is a little ridiculous - particularly in terms of his mother somehow not mentioning his existence for about a year because of Dom's honeymoon - but he ranks higher than most supporting characters in the film because of his involvement in the film's best set-piece.

He united with Deckard Shaw in the unlikeliest action movie duo ever for the rescue from Cipher's Super Jet, carried through the slickly choreographed fight scenes as a passenger and adding hilarious comic flourishes (mostly thanks to CGI, admittedly).

The baby mugging to camera when Deckard makes one of Cipher's henchmen sh*t himself is comedy gold. Watching his little face enjoying the Chipmunks' Christmas song while Deckard smashes said henchman's head repeatedly off the floor is comedy gold. The whole sequence is comedy gold.

And while his existence is confusing and problematic for the future of the franchise - since Brian was basically forced to retire to look after his kid, and Dom definitely won't be - his appearance is worth it for that ludicrous, brilliant sequence alone.
