Fast & Furious 8: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
2. Roman Pearce
He might be the least skilled of the entire crew (aside from his driving ability generally), but Roman Pearce's charitable commitment to comedy is what makes him stand out. He's willing to be the clown - and quite often he's the butt of the joke - and he's responsible for two of the best moments in the film: his attempt to read Russian and his tiny penis joke.
He's not a high-brow character by any means, and he often trades on some pretty unwelcome stereotypes, but there's an element of self-awareness to his characterisation and his performance that makes that all entirely forgivable. Arguably, he's the only one who knows he's in a Fast & Furious movie, and while he's definitely a caricature, he's still the most relatable character.
if there's a Hobbs spin-of, he should go with him too, since he's effectively building the same screen persona as Kevin Hart, and we know how well that works already.
