Fast & Furious 9: 20 WTF Moments

Half-way through the movie, Dom heads to London to confront Jakob, but upon tracking him down finds himself placed in police custody by order of Otto.

Dom is hauled into the back of a police meat wagon, sat next to half a dozen armed cops, who promptly remove their masks to reveal they're a group of attractive women, much to Dom's amusement.

Among them is none other than Cardi B playing Leysa, an old friend of Dom's from the Dominican Republic who has inexplicably picked him up.

The strangely prolonged cameo also sees the rapper drop a ton of exposition about her character's backstory and the fact that she swiped Jakob's biometrically encoded gun, which will allow Dom to track him anywhere on the globe.

If the cameos from Rita Ora and Iggy Azalea in previous Fast movies were embarrassingly heavy-handed, at least they weren't awkwardly shoehorned into the actual plot. Cringe-worthy isn't even the word.

And be afraid, because Diesel has already confirmed we'll be seeing her character return in F10.
