5. Dom's Ridiculous Near-Death Experience
Perhaps the worst and certainly the corniest part of the entire movie takes place when Jakob's men rescue him from Mr. Nobody's hideout, resulting in Dom falling literally hundreds of feet down a sewer shaft into the murky depths below.
As he sinks through the water unconscious, he has a vision of his father shortly before his death, where he's clearly struggling with his finances, intermingled with a vision of Dom's own son Brian.
Dom then sees Jakob reluctantly tampering with his father's car and driving away after being run out town, before we fade back to the present, where Letty swims through the water - somehow making it down there in record time, it seems - to rescue Dom.
It's a perfect car crash of toe-curlingly bad melodrama and ridiculous action, resulting in one of the silliest sequences in the entire franchise.
