Fast X: 25 WTF Moments
1. Mid-Credits Scene: Hobbs Returns!
And finally, we have the mid-credits scene that was spoiled following the movie's premiere. A fleet of armed officers raid a dusty old abandoned theater, only for one of the masked officers to pick up a phone.
The phone plays a message from Dante, who professes he wants to get revenge on the person who actually killed his father - that person being Agent Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson).
And just as the message ends with Dante warning Hobbs that he's coming for him, the masked man removes his mask to reveal, indeed, Agent freakin' Hobbs.
The fist-pumping scene ends with Hobbs professing, "Well I ain't hard to find, you sumbitch." Given that Dwayne Johnson seemed positively done with the mainline Fast franchise per his very public feud with Vin Diesel, Fast X saved the most WTF moment for last with this genuinely shocking cameo.
All the same, it probably wouldn't have happened if Black Adam didn't flop, and has strong "this was shot a few weeks ago" energy.
