The Movie: After Hulk received a mixed reception from fans and critics alike in 2003, Marvel regained the rights to the green goliath, casting Edward Norton in the role of Bruce Banner. Foregoing the artistic approach of Ang Lee, Louis Leterrier's take on the Hulk is an action-packed affair that hearkened back to the original 1970's TV show in its lighter treatment of the source material. The Incredible Hulk may not have won many awards, but fans embraced it for the solid blockbuster fare it was, so it came as a surprise when Norton was publicly pushed aside in favor of Mark Ruffalo when filming for The Avengers began. Ya burnt! What It Says About You: You hated that artsy fartsy Ang Lee monstrosity released a few years before. Edward Norton can do no wrong in your eyes and you've already started a campaign to return him to the role of Bruce Banner #NortonSMASH. You don't care that The incredible Hulk is the one Marvel movie that seems to have zero bearing on the rest of the MCU... although you wish The Leader would hurry up and make another appearance already. The final battle between the CGI Hulk and the CGI Abomination was awesome and in no way mindless or dumb to watch. Sometimes, when you're walking by the road, you hear the Lonely Man theme song in your head and have to fight the urge to slump your shoulders and stick your thumb out for passing cars. Soundbite: "Mark Ruffalo can suck it." Favorite Movies: The Incredible Hulk Returns (1988), Primal Fear (1996)
