1. Jensen Ackles
Why? Another actor who has risen to prominence mostly thanks to a supernatural TV show - called, quite pleasantly, Supernatural - Ackles would bring the necessary dark mystique, and he is another actor who has been suggested by fans. He would certainly be a marketing savvy pick, because fans of Supernatural have been calling out for the opportunity to see him in a more erotic role for some time now. Unfortunately for Ackles, and for those fans who have suggested him, he is a little too clean cut to really pull off the role - and though he is one of the most attractive fellas on this list, he might not quite have that brooding under-current that is so key to the character. And I would suggest Ackles might not quite have the acting chops to pull off the character, but let's be honest - the film isn't going to need a strong acting performance. It will barely need a coherent script, because like Twilight, as long as they cast clever and fans are able to see something of their own imagined versions of the characters in their on-screen counterparts, they'll flock to the cinema. And there'll already be a huge guaranteed audience thanks to the success of the book.
