Which Film Do You Wish You'd Never Seen?

Time to forget.

It's not uncommon for somebody to sit down to a movie, only to find themselves wishing afterwards that they'd never bothered. Granted, that's presumably the way the entire world felt having seen the last three or four films in Michael Bay's canon; if a movie isn't very good, after all, there's a sense that it's wasted our time. We'd have been better off avoiding the darn thing, or skipping it entirely. But do remember the reasoning behind wishing you'd not seen a movie in these cases comes down to both the hours and the money you spent in doing so. There are other movies that you might wish you'd never seen for different reasons entirely - darker, more disturbing reasons, perhaps. Not because the experience cost you £10 or because you didn't utilise those precious procrastination hours to their maximum advantage by watching something good, but because the movie in question wronged you. It made you feel dirty or uncomfortable in your skin. Or maybe you merely pray you'd avoided a movie because it ruined another movie for you; perhaps you wish you could take back a really terrible sequel instead. Our pick for a movie that is perhaps better unseen? That of the weird, gag-inducing and ultimately unfounded in it existence horror flick A Serbian Film, which might just well be the most detestable movie ever made. Here's a movie that takes an obvious pleasure in going about as far down the rabbit hole as is possible. Is it the scenes of rape, child abuse and necrophilia that mark it out as the sort of film we wish we could take back? Even if - as some fans claim - there's some hidden intelligence beneath it all, is the journey still worth taking? Almost certainly not. What about you? Which movie do you wish you'd never seen?
