First Look: Johnny Depp in Martin Scorsese's HUGO CABRET

I knew Johnny Depp was a producer on Martin Scorsese's 3D kids film Hugo Cabret but I had no idea he would be making an appearance. I have no idea how large his role as 'M. Rouleau' is, it might be simply as small as it is above, just a French artist doodling in the background. He might not even speak, who knows? (people are telling me the character has a speaking part in the book) But there's something cool about the stars aligning and Johnny Depp finally managing to appear in a Scorsese movie and wouldn't it be cool if the veteran director choose him as his Frank Sinatra? A reader of Coming Soon sent the image (I don't know if it being in black and white means anything) to the site along with the following text;
The scan is from an article about photographer Brigitte Lacombe in an issue of "Le Parisien" from last week. The translated caption reads: "left to right, Johnny Depp as M. Rouleau, Chloe Moretz as Isabella (sic), and Asa Butterfield as Hugo."
The Invention of Hugo Cabret is due Thanksgiving weekend - November 23rd.
