2. There's A Surprise Twist That Actually Works

Fair play to the movie, it does boast one genuinely surprising twist that will catch a lot of people off-guard.

No spoilers here, of course, but if you were expecting a movie that completely played it safe with regard to the original movie's formula, it does actually deviate away from it with one significant and fairly shocking moment in the second half.

Granted, it doesn't leave much of a lasting impact because the follow-up isn't remotely interesting, but it's still an interesting moment that wasn't remotely hinted at in the trailers. You'll know it when you see it (if you actually bother to watch it).
