Frank Miller writing 300 follow-up & what is WAR OF THE GODS?

Frank Miller does tend to get excited when his comic book properties are made into kick ass movies. We know he is planning to write brand new Sin City stories for future collaborations with Robert Rodriguez and now comes word from the producers behind the 2007 CGI heavy 300, that Miller is writing a another comic story set in the universe. The plan is to adapt the prequel or sequel tale once Miller has published it. Collider got the scoop out at the Saturn Awards on Tuesday Night. Also planned is a Blu-Ray release of the original 300 (which I would expect to be one of the most gorgeous so far released). Another interesting scoop the site got from the event was a juicy story of a new movie titled War of the Gods, a 300 esque CGI film from the visually stunning helmer Tarsem Singh (The Cell, The Fall). It will start filming in the first quarter of next year and will be another Greek movie.
